The shirt is medium regular, made in 1970 by Richard Wynn, a well known US Army contractor from the Vietnam War years.
The official name is "coat, man's cotton wind resistant rip-stop poplin OG-107 Class I".
The shirt is medium regular; when flat, it measures as follows:
- 23" across the chest, pit to pit;
- 17" shoulder to shoulder across the front;
- 31" from collar seam to hem along the back.
What is left of the sleeves is just 4 1/2" from shoulder to t...he edge and 2 1/2" from underarm to the edge: these are shorter than 'regular' short sleeves.
The intention of the owner was, we believe, to make a vest out of the shirt, but had to leave a minimal length of sleeve, just enough, to keep the patches in place.
