I picked this radio up at a local estate and it is in very good cosmetic condition. Plugged it in when I got it home and it did not power up. I was told it needs two of the large batteries to power up. The power cord is to charge the batteries that are not there.  It is a Heathkit Model GR-78. Made in USA.Nice gray metal case with the telescopic antenna.Front plate glass is good and the dials and controls are good.   It, as far as I can tell has not been tampered wi...th.Carrying handle on the side is solid and intact.Selling in the as is or for parts condition.
