Enya 09 Quickie –Ballraced Engine – Little Vintage Glow Powerhouse!Brand New in Box. Please see photos as they are the main part of the description!Ex Ripmax Stock –they were Enya Dealers for many years before 1994 – This engine is from 1989/90we think.Come with Enya Number 3 Plug Installed.There is no prop nut or washer as standard it would fit to a clutch in a car or heli. The 09 Nut and Washers do fit it. Available from Enya UK Sales in Frodsham - if you need one....

More Information - What uses etc.Over to Dad ->>>> Want a 10-size engine that is smooth, reliable andpowerful?Here we have a Brand-New vintage and pre-owned 09 Quickie BB Engine. Partof my own engine collection. This engine is no longer available from Enya.It has a Heatsink head for car use or marine use*, but these engines canalso be used for aircraft. * We seem to remember Kyosho in Japan used thisengine for a swamp boat and possibly a Mini Inferno or Burns?Back in the day we used to fit them to Miniature Aircraft Factory MiniFlying Machines and boy… did they go! The MAF Mini Flying Machine was at firstbuilt around the Cox 061 and then 10FP’s took to being a favourite power plantand then we tried the Enya Quickie 09 – Wow…Another modeller /friend of ours (Joe Gresty) used one of these in a cowlrear pusher configuration Jet style model. Buried in the back of the model’s fuselage andwith a prop extension he had made, the heat sink head was just visible, and itkept the engine cool with airflow over the head. It was an excellent use of this awesome little engine type. The silencerand engine was hidden in the rear of the aircraft and could not be easily seenin flight. Making the model appear to be a Jet, with no engine or prop visible inflight.The Ball raced Aero 09 Engine that sold for £99.99 / £109.99 in the 90’s– Essentially this engine with the aero head and a longer crankshaft.The cylinder head for the 09 Aero Fits this engine and so you could evenconvert the engine to pure aero (Enya UK Sales in Frodsham, Cheshire shouldhave aero heads for the Oh 9. Although the Aero Crank shaft version is slightlylonger than the Quicky Car version. Fitting spinners on the car version can provedifficult with only a few styles fitting.Or why not use it in the Kyosho Vintage RS200 style models.
