VINTAGE 1944 PARKER BLUE DIAMOND VACUMATIC MAJOR FOUNTAIN PEN!JEWELER'S BAND!EXCELLENT TRANSPARENCY!SHARP IMPRINT!FULLY RESTORED & READY TO USE! BLUE STRIPED with gold trim. It is in EXCELLENT condition It has EXCELLENT transparency to determine the amount of ink in the pen.Note the pen has the uncommon "Jeweler's Band" which is a series of stacked lines instead of the usual ///\\\ pattern. The pen is the MAJOR model measuring 5 1/8" capped.This pen has been disassembled..., cleaned, inspected, and tested.
I have installed a new diaphragm, the vacuum fill system works great, and the pen fills completely up. The CRISP imprint states "Geo S Parker", "Parker Vacumatic", "Made in USA Pat", and has a date code of "4" with no dot. The 14K GOLD nib is FINE in size and has the arrow design and states "Parker, USA". The clip of the pen is the standard arrow and feather with "Parker" written down the middle and has a perfect blue diamond top and center. The cap is topped with a perfect black jewel.
