BACKPACK- NO RESERVE! (H8.18)Acquired at an estate sale in the Hamptons on Long Islandis this vintage original Bergan’s of Oslo Norway backpack bag. There is the spacious main compartment (about17 inches deep, 13 inches across the back and the top opening stretches out toabout 16 inches). Two side compartmentsare about 10 inches tall, 5.75 inches across and open to about 4 inches. Flap cover to main compartment has a zipper compartmenton the inside. Zipp...er works great and issolid. Felt padding on the leathershoulder straps. Leather straps forshoulders and all compartments are in great condition – not dried, cracked ortorn. Lightweight aluminum externalframe is free of any damage. Frame barsare 17 inches tall, 13.5 inches across the waist and 13.5 inches across theshoulder. No holes, tears, rips, etc… tothe bags. There is a slight old smell toit from being in a closet for many years – should air out ok. No smoke smell to it. Weight without packing materials and theshipping box is 3 pounds 3 ounces.
