Kuo Hwa Artistic Silk-Weaving Hangchow China 16"x10 1/2" Textile -River Scene
This is a nice 16" x 10 1/2" textile made by Kuo Hwa in Hangchow, China. I believe it is from the 1930's or 1940's and is nicely preserved. It features a sailboat on a river with a cherry tree in blossom and hills or mountains in the background. It is mainly blues and grays with the pink blossoms and sunset for color.
