Rare 2 part Original Dial
Men's Dress Watch Hand wound cal 332 Winds, runs & sets wellSigned - Dial, Case & Movement Case: Excellent 18K solid rose gold snap down case with long lugs - Inside case reads: Universal Geneve with Logo Swiss - Head of Helvetia (Swiss hallmark for 18K) 18K 0, 750 - 115 inside a hammerhead motif is the case maker's mark for Manufacture Favre & Perret SA - The case is also hallmarked to the back of one lug and to the side - Case measures approx 38.9mm lug to lug tip and 32.5mm across not including the crown (not signed) - Case numbers to outer back are 1510863 (indicating the year of manufacture as circa1951) 106503 Crystal is in very good conditionDial: Rare two part original dial in good vintage condition with some patina - The inner disc has applied rose gold Arabic numerals and the applied rose gold Universal logo with Universal Geneve in black script beneath the 12 - This is separate to and sits on the outer silver ring which carries the black seconds chapter - Gold hour, minute & centre seconds hands in good order with a light tarnish - Swiss to bottom Movement: Hand wound UNIVERSAL GENEVE - Calibre 332 - Signed Universal Geneve Swiss Made - Seventeen 17 Jewels - Unadjusted - 332 - Winds, runs & sets well The watch is complimented with a new 18mm smooth blue leather strap, not signed This is a lovely example of a classic and very stylish - 18K gold Universal Geneve - A classic on the wrist Shipping includes InsuranceThe watch is exactly as described - I endeavour to provide high resolution clear images to help aid your decision - please take the time to study them - If you have any questions please ask before Auction end and I'll do my best to answer them - Watches not recently serviced unless stated otherwiseBidders with less than 5 recent positives please contact me before bidding
