We are pleased to offer for your buying consideration with NO RESERVE and a special "BUY IT NOW!" price is a FABULOUS ANTIQUE GERMAN 11 1/2" GEBRUDER HEUBACH CHARACTER BOY DOLL IN MARINER'S OUTFIT!We acquired this SPECIAL BOY along with his "little brother", an 11" antique Gebruder Knoch boy doll which we are showing in one of our pictures here and will be offering for sale under a separate listing; please note this offering is for the 11 1/2" Gebruder Heubach in the nautical... outfit only! This particular doll is an EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE of a wonderful smaller CABINET SIZE doll, but would also make a great display being held by your larger sized Bebe as a DOLL'S DOLL-----he is simply CHARMING! This little guy will STEAL YOUR HEART with his ADORABLE two piece mariner's outfit, quality bisque with beautifully molded features, and EXPRESSIVE BLUE painted eyes!He is wearing the cutest of antique sailor suits, made of deep navy blue cotton/wool fabric and consisting of long pants and matching long sleeved jacket with sailor collar that has four rows of WHITE TRIM, also duplicated around his sleeve cuffs, contrasting red and white striped panel insert, and the most fabulous set of original round decorative BRASS BUTTONS on each side of the jacket front! His navy blue cotton beret with fuzzy red pom-pom is a vintage addition, but compliments his suit perfectly, and to complete his outfit he wears black faux leather side strap shoes with vintage cream rayon socks! His original cream LEATHER BODY is beautifully made, with HAND STITCHED gussets and seams and also has metal grommet HINGED JOINTS at the upper arms as well as the upper legs and knees, allowing him to bend and sit, all in clean and EXCELLENT CONDITION!His bisque shoulder head is BEAUTIFULLY MOLDED with painted and molded light brown hair in tiny strokes and he has subtly SIDE GLANCING eyes, round little rosy cheeks, and the cutest DOUBLE CHIN; this is our FAVORITE Heubach boy doll mold!
