Another piece from the old Kingdom of Bohemia which makes a goddess of a woman :-) The necklace is made of of five hand linked panels at centre front. Three of these are designed in a shell shape and set to the top with a raised confection with filigree petals and calyx centred with a lovely glass hatched turquoise cabochon. From this radiates an odeonesque design of rays ending in the tiniest flower imaginable, ...which is enamelled in a soft sage green and flanked with two smaller flower forms set with turquoise glass cabs. The shell forms are flanked by two winged panels which are decorated in a similar manner. The necklace continues with four ornate filigree panels with are doubled so that the design is the same front and back. These are separated with little metal spheres and they fasten with the original ring bolt clasp. You need to remember to push the bolt back on this as it sticks. Or you can replace it with a new clasp (but please retain the old one).
The necklace is 15.75 inches long ~ this is a SMALL size so please measure carefully before buying. The width at centre front is 21 mm. Certainly, at some point the fronts of the panels have been silvered ~ maybe the backs which i am not so sure about ~ as there are the remains of the silvering. There are no remails in the filigree panels so i doubt these were. The little remnants of silver add a nice dimension to this already intricate necklace. Minor wear to the enamel here and there but nought that imo detracts from this enchanting piece.

We do accept returns for anything that we have not described correctly but in the case of change of mind we will not be able to refund the initial postage cost. Please buy responsibly ~ this is not a big business that sells en masse and returns have a big impact. i will honour my mistakes but recently people seem to just buy to try things on, thank you for your understanding. Please refer to the dimensions and photographs before buying as close up photography is used to disclose any defects and this can make items look larger than in real life. i am a human being and on occasion will probably make a mistake but will do everything i can to resolve one if it happens.
