Vintage Ronson Penciliter In Rhodium Plate With Display Box

This listing is for a vintage Ronson Penciliter with the original display box. First introduced in 1948, this is a redesigned version of the original Penciliter. It was offered in several different finishes, like this example in rhodium plate. This item is in excellent condition, with only faint surface wear to list. There are no dents or dings. Under close inspection you can see some light surface wear in spots, but overall the finish is very nice. The mechanical pencil contains some lead, and ...the extends and retracts smoothly. There is an eraser that is reachable by pulling out the pencil tip, but the eraser is hard from age obviously it can easily be replaced. The lighter mechanism functions by sliding the pen clip down, and it operates smoothly. The flint tube is clear, and with a flint inserted a nice spark is produced. This is a petrol lighter, and although it has NOT been filled and tested with a flint and some fuel it should function properly. The display box is in very good condition. Thank you for looking. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO STRIKE YOUR LIGHTER WHEN YOU RECEIVE IT. I DONOT SHIP ANY LIGHTER WITH A FLINT INSERTED, AND A DRY STRIKE CAN DAMAGE IT.
