This listing is for a vintage Berggren Trayner hand-screened tile decorated in the ornate style of Norwegian Rosemaling. The colors are fired for permanence and is titled “Thanks so much” design No. 192. It was made in U.S.A. and measures 6” in diameter. There is felt and an information card on the back. There is a small hole through the felt for hanging on the wall. It can also be used as a trivet for hot dishes under flower pots or simply displaying its beauty. It’s in good v...intage condition with no chips cracks or repairs. There is some discoloring around the rim but nothing that takes away the beauty of this item. Berggren Trayner was founded by Arthur and Audrey Berggren in 1948. The company moved to Libertyville in 1953. They created silk screen ceramic and enamelware decals in Swedish style – decorative cookware, cutting boards, porcelain, china, and ceramic tiles. Their wares were distributed at department stores like Carson Pirie Scott and Marshall Field.
