Interesting Kinetic, Sculptural necklace made in the 1960's by Peggotty Christensen, I cannot find any additional examples of her jewelry online although her bio does list her making jewelry from 1961-1986. You can tell with the design and construction of this necklace that she was heavily influenced by both artists Jack Boyd, and Pal Kepenyes, and had it not been marked Peggotty I would have definitely attributed it to one of these artists. The necklace/chain itself is comprised of al...ternating thin & wide rings, and flower shaped elements that are connected with hand made ball head pins. The elements measure roughly 1" across, with the whole length measuring approximately 33" long, finished with a hook and ring clasp. Overall in very good vintage condition, has expected wear and patina commensurate with age and material. I welcome any questions you might have, and I gladly offer combined shipping.
