Vintage Lodge "4 in 1" hammered finished cast iron skillet set in restored condition.
The bottom skillet's cooking surface has very light etching from corrosion and light utensil scores. The surface feels near glass smooth to the touch. The pan does have wobble on a glass surface (see photos). No chips, cracks or repairs.
The top skillet's cooking surface has only hints of etching an utensil scores and is glass smooth to the touch. The pan does have wobb...le on a glass surface (see photos). No chips, cracks or repairs.
This item was stripped down to bare metal using collector approved lye bath and electrolysis treatments. This process insures the removal all residue from previous use making it safe to use once more. One round of seasoning at 450 degrees with Crisco for several hours. No chips, cracks or repairs to the pan. This item is photographed in very bright light to highlight fine details. Under these lighting conditions, pan may take on a brown color.
