Beautiful and rare Wedgwood pair urns & covers dating to 19th century. I believe the design & decoration is called Queen's ware. This urns are an unusually large size of 11 inches tall. Others I found in researching this vase were under 10 inches. The urn is heavily gold gilded & bronzed on a cream ground colored porcelain and an Egyptian shape design. Measurements 11 inches tall. Condition is very good on one and the other go...od. 1st-Some normal wear. Body very good with a few tiny nicks around base. Darker craze line at foot( see photo). Lid good but finial has old repair at top and some gold paint at bottom. 2 a little darker short craze lines on inside side wall of lid. 2nd-Body good but one handle broken/repaired. Lid broken with old repair not great and now flaking/chipping. These are a rare pair of vases to find and very beautiful in person.
