Up for Auction with NO RESERVE is a FINE c1780 GEORGIAN SILVER SHEFFIELD PLATE LIDDED ALE TANKARD CUP STEIN MUG #1 This one of several Georgian Period Sheffield Plate Ale Tankards we have listed this week from a great estate collection of Old Sheffield Plate. This Tankard is one of the finest quality examples I have seen and a step or two above the examples you normally see. Please see all of our photos for the great details and superb form but believe me when I say it is even better in real life.
Condition: The mug is in overall good condition for the age with some wear as seen in the photos.
Size: The tankard measures 8 inches tall by 6-1/4 inches wide across the handle and 4-7/8 inches wide across the base.
