1965 Jensen Concert Em1501 8 ohm 15" Guitar Speaker. I payed $100 to have this speaker reconed about 5 years ago, and it has been sitting in the closet in my studio ever since. Somehow during that time, the cone got 2 small pinholes in it. I sent a picture of the holes to the company who reconed it. They told me to seal each one with a drop of black nail polish, and assured me it would not affect the sound or longevity of the speaker. I included a picture from before the repair, so you... can see how minimal the holes were. The date code puts the manufacture date at the 10th week of 1965. This would make a great period correct original replacement for a '65 or '66 Ampeg Gemini II. It would also sound good in just about any 15" guitar cabinet, if you're looking for the classic sound of a vintage Jensen. It has less than an hour of use since the recone was done. So you know you're getting a fresh speaker that will last for many years.
