Works great. Tested this past weekend and played many tapes with no problems. The kids got to watch some of back to the future and loved it! The remote works great. No battery corrosion inside compartment and the remote itself is clean! The top of the vcr has some scratches and sticker residue. The front face is clean and clear although the pictures are showing th...e reflection of the wood grain from my flooring. I have a lot of older Sony and high end electronics available.
