THIS IS A FIVE DAY AUCTION!
Up for auction is a beautiful battery operated SUPER VIDEO ROBOT SPACE SCOUT w/ BOX from 1979, made by SH Horikawa in Japan. I got this for my birthday back in 1979, so I am the original owner. He was never played with, but displayed in a glass case with other vintage robots.
SUPER VIDEO ROBOT SPACE SCOUT is 10 inches tall from his feet to the tips of his ant...ennas, and is in perfect, "Mint In Box" shape! He is made of a hard blue plastic with chrome parts. His arms are made of a soft blue plastic, and the bottoms of his feet are a red metal. His "video screen" on his chest is made of a white-milky plastic which enables the space image to be seen. Super Video Robot Space Scout does work, but sometimes his video image stops, but then starts again. I just tested him and he fired right up! You insert two fresh C batteries in his back battery pack, then flick the metal switch to the right. Robot will then walk forward and will show off his "space scene" video on his chest. Please check out my "action" photos! Comes with his original box and cardboard inserts. The box is in really good shape, with a bit of wear from being in storage.
