This beautiful crafted brooch was inspired by St Magnus Cathedral in Kirkwall OrkneyThe Cathedral was built in memory of Magnus the Martyr in 1137 and remains the spiritual heart of the Orkney Islands
Designed by Ola Gorie who has always been inspired and motivated by her Celtic and Norse heritageShe was awarded an MBE in 1999 for both her designs and as a founder of the modern jewellery industry.
This brooch is set in sterling silver and marked to reverse OMG... ST SILSecured with a roll over clasp and pinMeasures 20mm in diameterWeight 3.3 grams
