Vintage 1950’s Art Deco Westclox Moonbeam S5 - J Alarm Clock - Keeps Good Time

This is a nice example of a vintage Westclox S5-J Moonbeam Style 1 plain face alarm clock. This style 1 was made from 1948 to 1957. The case is made from a material called cellulose acetate butyrate. There a noticeable crack in the case but structurally it is fine and does not detract terribly from the appearance. The bulb is not working and needs replacing. The alarm buzzer doesn’t buzz when the alarm goes off, but I can feel it vibrating. All in all, this is a beautiful Art Deco cl...ock and keeps good time.
