Original Description:
Offered here without reserve is a good large antique American bentwood woven oak splint buttocks gathering basket, dating to the mid-late 19th century,   having a good strong handle, with no breaks. Shrinkage throughout and out of round shape.
height 14in; width 16 3/4in; depth 16 1/2in

In "as-found" condition, some losses of splints to the basket's sides and where handle meets the baskets, nothing unrepairable, nonetheless a good look. Please see all pictures.
