This auction is for a Vintage Native American? Carved Turquoise Abalone Animal Fetish Necklace. This necklace is being sold as is because several of the carved animals are broken. I purchased a collection of several fetish necklaces from an estate of a woman who bought jewelry from Native American galleries or shops that sold Southwestern jewelry. I am not an expert on fetish necklaces so I do not know much about them. The ends are not marked but tested aro...und 800 silver. The necklace is in fair vintage condition with use/age related wear, several carved animals are broken where the head or tail is missing, one is broken in half, a couple animals have been glued together, one of the small turquoise beads is broken, and it is possibly missing one of the animals.
