Nice vintage patchwork wool quilt in a nice full/queen size. This blanket for being a single panel wool patchwork is very VERY warm. Made in the 50's the lady who made this took a LOT of time and care in the construction of this wonderful quilt. Her intent was to pass it on from generation to generation, but her children never showed any interest in acquiring this great piece of Americana. I DID! and I have used this in a non smoking home for a few winters to keep us warm, and turn the... thermostat down. It does get so warm sometimes that you have to throw back the covers to let a leg or two get cooled down even on those freezing nights. I have gotten many compliments for the sheer beauty of this wool blanket as a cover for our queen size bed. you just don't find these great old school items anymore.
