I made jewelry in the 80's that was sold in museum stores (Whitney, SFMOMA) and boutiques (Barneys, Fred Segal). This pair has 6 very finely carved coral flowers riveted onto the silver cactus. Today, I wouldn't buy newly harvested coral, but these are considered vintage and there is a different thought about them since they are old. The size of the silver cactus makes these earrings a little dramatic, but they are light because they are carved out in the back (photo). More interesting... than just pretty in pink.
