Pretty baby-pink skirt made from collectible 'Casbah' Millworth fabric, circa 1950's.
A Mid Century Middle Eastern fantasy novelty print in vivid orange, green, and turquoise. We see a market place with vendors selling their wears, (pottery and pumpkins), camels, palms - and all set against a backdrop of enchanting architecture of arches, minarets, and domes topped with the crescent moon. Further still in the distance are little oasis of palms, giving a real feeling of depth o...f distance. You can see why Millworth designs were dubbed, "The Most Fabulous Prints in Fashionland".
This A-line skirt has a 2 3/4" quilted waistband with black and white zig-zag embroidery detail.
Side button closure with metal zipper.
