Extra nice Marple's Safety Axe No. 2 ? size. This is a rather small size camping axe/hatchet with safety guard. Beautiful condition with the composite handle in tact(see pictures). It is approx. 11 inches end to end and ha...s a 2.25" cutting edge. It is in pristine condition. Circa 1930's ?. It has a 1898 Patent date as shown in pictures. Looks like it had an imprint on both sides of the axe head but to faint to read or make out...
