Superb Vintage Gents Poljot Russian Gold Plated Chronograph Watch c1994
Reluctant Sale; Extremely well looked after, rarely worn. Excellent cosmetic and working condition.
Powered by the superb Poljot Soviet era caliber 3133 which is a 23 jewelled cam controlled manual wind Chronograph. It has the running seconds at the 3 o'clock subdial. It is unusual in that it features an exposed date wheel with a red pointer at the 6 oclock.
Poljot acquired the machinery... to manufacture the movement from Valjoux of Switzerland and is essentially their chronograph caliber 7734
The elegant gold plated case has a diameter of approx 39mm and is quite chunky making for a lovely wrist presence. Its elegance is enhanced by a very high domed crystal. It has a stainless steel case back.
At the 6 oclock it says Made in Russia
