Sony Watchman FD-40ADescriptionCondition: The Watchman is in very nice used condition. It has had one senior owner since new. The body is in very nice condition with minimal wear since it has spent most of its life in its original case. All buttons and knobs are intact. The original case aside from some surface wear from age and storage, is intact with no major rips, damage or deterioration. The battery compartment is in perfect shape with no signs of leaked batteries at all.... The unit does power up with batteries, though the signals this used to pick up are long gone.

Other Information: This was owned by my grandfather. It was purchased as a gift so he could watch the New York Jets football games wherever he went. Nowadays he prefers the flat screen HD-TV, plus as previously mentioned the signals are no longer being broadcast, so this isn't very usable as a TV. However this would make an awesome display piece and is a cool piece of 80's tech history!
