VintagePenn 285 Delmar conventional reel This 2/0 size reel was made in The USA from the 40s until about 20 years ago and is in excellent condition, I believe this is a 60s version. Mechanically it works perfectly and the gears, free-spool, drag, & click work smooth & strong, the chrome & plating is like new. It has a 2.5/1 gear ratio and will hold about 380 yds. of 20 lb. test and is a grade 9+/10. It weighs 17 oz. and was d...esigned for mainly bottom fishing. It is a good quality reel and has a yellow handle knob, and has been recently serviced and has had the foot corners filed lightly, it is great for fishing or collecting. If you are not happy with an item returns are fine but the buyer pays shipping. The reels I sell are 98% used, and in between 20 & 100 years old. Most are far from perfect, so I some times use the Orca grading system, the first no. is how it looks and the second how it works. A 5/5 would be for parts and a 10/10 would be new.
