Massive Near 10 " Ornate Chinese Hardwood Stand For Fabulous Beast Or Carving

This is one of a number of Chinese stands I have online at the moment. They have all come from a good collection, and many are still dusty or a little grubby. Thisis a massive stand, designed for something other than a vase. Theupper table is specifically shaped for an object, presumably a largecarving, but I do not have this. This upper table has maximuminternal dimensions of around 25cm by 19cm, but these vary as towhere it is measured. The stand is on five legs, all mounted withinan... ornate pierced frieze. There are a few small grazes to the edge ofthe inner rim of the table, where the object has been in and out ofthe stand, but these are minor. There is a discoloured patchunderneath that looks like it needs a touch of stain, otherwisecondition is good. Very minor issues on a very nice stand. This is a large, heavy stand, nearly 1.2kg unpacked, and I cannot get it into a box for small parcel shipping. Overseas costs therefore reflect this.
