Up for sale today is an Original Vietnam War U.S. Army M-1949 Mountain Down Sleeping Bag, with an M-1945 Case. This sleeping bag is a size Regular, and it is dated 1967. The case is dated 1951.
This vintage down filled sleeping bag is still in excellent condition. There are absolutely no rips, tears, holes, repairs or damage anywhere on it or in it. None of the feathers are leaking out anywhere either. This one is still... very clean with absolutely no foul odors whatsoever. The zipper is still in perfect working condition. The water repellent case does have one tiny hole near the foot of it, but it is small and insignificant and will not present a problem. All of the snaps and grommets are all in perfect working order. These U.S. Army mountain down filled sleeping bags are extremely well made. This one is sure to make a great addition to your collection.
