1886 18 size Waltham Mass pocket watch full hunter solid silver very good condition and working + a key, the solid silver full hunter case is in very good condition with no bad scratches dents or staining, it does have wear a few small marks a 2/3 very very small dents but over all it's in very good condition, the front cover has a vacant cartouche in the middle and the back has a small round disc in the middle, around the out side of the case is a coined edging, open the back and on t...he inside of it is the loin for 0.925 silver an anchor for Birmingham a date letter and a case markers mark A.B, you can wind the watch up at this point with the key supplied, there is a dust cover over the movement witch is also in very good condition with only a bit of wear and a few small marks on it, open it and it has the same silver hallmarks, the movement looks fairly clean and it's working, it's key wound and set with 7 jewels and a full plate, on the movement is Farringdon D and Waltham Mass and a movement number witch dates it to 1886, push ten button in on top of the crown and the front cover will spring open, the bezel and glass are fitted and in very good condition, the bezel is hinged so you can set the time the hinge is in very good condition and working well, the dial is white enamel with black roman numerals and a sub second dial at 6 o'clock, at the top is Farringdon D, the dial has no chips or staining but does have a couple of faint hairlines, the dial is in very good condition, all the hands are there and in very good condition and working well, with the key supplied you can wind and set the hands as it should, the watch will run the full length of it's wind and it keeps good time, all the hinges are in very good condition and working well, the watch is 53.1mm in diameter with out the crown and 18.4mm thick, this is a very nice full hunter pocket watch by Waltham solid silver and working, please look at my photos and bid postage out side uk will be extra.
