Forester and illustrations by Edward A. Wilson, published for The Limited Editions Club by The Heritage Press (NY), 10.15 x 6.65-inch HB, no DJ as issued, comes with slipcase and 4-page Sandglass insert, 124 pp.; very good-plus condition (book is strong very good-plus - clean and tightly b...ound with straight corners, bright covers and only slight fading to gilt lettered linen spine; insert is toned; slipcase is clean and structurally sound with toning at edges).
Sinbad the Sailor's sea-going adventures are set in the ancient Middle East but have captivated children all over the world for many decades. This is a handsome edition with text and charming illustrations printed on thick, cream-colored, matte-finished stock which looks really nice at age 70).
There are many different editions on eBay but only one like mine. In very good condition with a number of flaws described in detail, with the slipcase but not the insert, it's $28.00 with free shipping. Mine's a better copy and cheaper.
