Up for sale here is this used vintage US-made 5U4G coke-bottle black-plate rectifier tube. I tested it on my B&K 747B tube tester, and it pegged the meter at 120/120, on a 0-120 scale where 65 is minimum good, and did not have any shorts or grid emissions.
I have a bunch of these available, and they're all from the 1950s and are all US-made. They are from a wide variety of manufacturers--GE, Sylvania, Raytheon, Westinghouse, and possibly others. They may ...have been made for a specific company and may have that company's name on the base--for example Zenith, Admiral, Truetone, etc. They will usually have an EIA code denoting the true maker of the tube, though. The tube in the picture is just for reference and is not the exact one you will receive. Please see my pictures for details.
