Up for bidding is this elegant vintage Schreiner ruffle pin or brooch. It is not signed (like much Schreiner) but I have shown it next to the same brooch from Tanenbaum & Townsend’s Schreiner Masters of 20th Century Costume Jewelry Reference book. This brooch is done in all jet black chatons and navettes in 4 tiers. The bottom tier is staggered in groups of three forming the famous “ruffle” of this well known brooch. The top faceted stone has one tiny flea bite but otherwise it i...s in great condition. No missing or replaced stones. Gold tone is an antique finish with no plating loss. Pin back works well.
