Perfectly MATCHED Pair of 1946 Vintage NIB Raytheon 6J7 Pentode tubes. This is the smaller, "metal can" version of the 6J7G which is often used as a lower-cost direct replacement for the Western Electric 348A. Very clean tubes with identical date codes. Have the same mutual conductance AND plate current readings which is nearly impossible to find. Test VERY STRONG! Results:

A little bit about me and my valve testing business..... I started in the tube business as a small hobby in 2012 testing and selling a few small radio tubes. The Amplitrex AT-1000 Digital tester and the Triplett 3444 (with digital plate current meter) Tube Analyzer are both mutual conductance testers that can test just about any tube ever made between the two of them and can test for shorts/leakage, noise, gas, emissions, and transconductance. I match tubes either by emissions (mA) or transconductance (mhos) and must be within 10%. I will usually give both readings and then a % of what would be considered a NEW average tube. I don't use minimum average readings because it is too vague and confusing for buyers. All my tested tubes are stored in individual white boxes or original boxes labeled with manufacturer, tube type, and test results.
