Richard Tregaskis was an American journalist and author whose best-known work is Guadalcanal Diary, an account of the first several weeks of the U.S. Marine Corps invasion of Guadalcanal in the Solomon Islands during World War II.

Noticeably used and worn but still in Good solid condition with reasonable wear and no major defects. Some foxing to endpapers and a small spots of foxing to upper edge of a few pages.
