This is a very rare helmet from the 1970s or early 80s. This is a super display helmet. The helmet is a Rawlings suspension style helmet - all original with the leather HND-9 style interior padding. The helmet has painted wings and stripes. The helmet has an original Schutt NOP 1970s style mask with reproduction hardware securing it to the helmet. The helmet has the original ultra-rare Rawlings leather jawpads. You've seen these jawpads alone fe...tch up to $400 for one pair - that are that rare. Also on this helmet is the original single strap Rawlings chinstrap. The helmet is in very nice condition - with very little wear. The rear of the helmet has award decals. Just a very rare helmet.
