Up for sale is a New Old Stock Marantz Model 15 from the estate of the owner of the Shaeffer Camera Company formerly of Newark, NJ
When the store closed the owner took his best inventory to his home where they sat for years. If you are looking at this I would suggest you look at my Marantz 7T also New Old Stock
It is my belief that this unit was never owned by anyone other than the store owner. The face plate was in plastic and not installed and the unit is pristine o...ther than some normal storage oxidation on the screws in the back panel
I brought the unit up slowly with a variac and paired it with the above mentioned 7T and it sounds fabulous! That said it is a vintage item and should probably be serviced. Note that the front panel lights did not come on.
