Welcome! For your consideration is a beautiful vintage necklace. This is a sautoir style necklace from the 1920's made from what is probably Czech glass beads in a rich green color. The main part of the necklace is done in all faceted beads in small round, long geometric and oval shapes. The end tassel is made of t...iny seed beads and small round beads at the tips. The necklace is strung on the original golden silk cord and is individually hand knotted between each bead. There is no clasp, just slip it over your head.
The necklace is in excellent vintage condition, upon close inspection some of the larger beads have some flea bites probably due to hitting each other and this is not unexpected in a necklace of this age and it does not detract in any way from the beauty. The cord is in excellent strong condition, not frayed at all. This is an estate find and my home is smoke free.
