OBJECT// Antique Japanese really fine and bold stunning early lacquered boxwood or maybe even ebony netsuke of a Noah theatre mask of a ferocious Demon, the carver is clearly confident in his execution, this example has flow, detail and character, the piece has two signatures, to the back strap a bold signature by the famous artist Deme, another can be seen at the side of the strap which i cannot make out, quality Netsuke this object is good from every angle including the bottom, superb colour and patina, serious collectors object. (Please note Ebay is awash with Netsuke fakes, i guarantee my items are genuine antique examples, so bid with confidence)
