Purchased at a university professor's estate auction about 15 years ago and used about once a year since then as our event glasses.
This pair has excellent clarity, excellent columnation and smooth operation. They have always been carried (by us) in the case and are in near-mint cosmetic condition.
PLEASE NOTE: that this is the model without the folding eyecups. Leitz does not put eye cups on some of their 8x binoculars. They are GREAT event glasses.
