Here we have the 1975 Mego Wizard Of Oz Emerald City Playset, along with 6 boxed action figures, and the Wizard of Oz figure in his bag. Sold 'AS IS', this is what we'd like to call a 'starter Set' for the collector, to upgrade when affordable with a mint set. All six original action figures (Dorothy and Toto, Glinda the Good Witch, The Wicked Witch, Scarecrow, Tin Woodman, and the Cowardly Lion) come in their original boxes with all accessories accounted for, and (exc...ept for the Tin Woodman), are still tied to their inserts. Some still have their original price tags ($1.49) from the 70's still on them. Though all the boxes are in varying used condition (see pics), all are perfectly displayable. Note: Some boxes have very slight tears in the window and the Wicked Witch box window has a tiny piece of tape to the interior of the box, not affecting the display-ability. The Emerald City itself does have some wrinkling on the carrying handle portion of the case, and a little wear. It comes with the Crystal Ball, Wizard's Throne Chair, the Yellow Brick Road (one small piece is detached), The Apple Tree and of course, the Wizard in his bag. Includes his top hat and shoes. The Emerald City box itself has seen better days, and has faded on the sides and is heavily taped on the top flap and sides. I am including the box because the playset can still comfortably fit in it and one side is displayable. I am not the original owner, but it served it's display purpose for several years before being put in storage, and we're finally getting around to putting it up, having upgraded to a mint set.
