This is a NEW Numbered SPYDERCO C81FGD2PParamilitary Sprint Run CPM-D2 Folding Knife. It is Collectors Club knifenumbered 161 of 200.A cornerstone in Spyderco's Saveand Serve line up, the Military Model came about after someone asked Spyderco'sowner Sal Glesser, "If your son were going into the military what foldingknife would you send him with?" For certain, it had to meet the requirementsof a high-performance, light-weight folder designed for hard use.Since the steel is the spirit of...the knife, CPM D2 seemed the logical choice for the blade. The 'Millie' has amodified clip-point blade laser cut with a 14 mm Spyderco Round Hole for quickdeployment and for use with gloves. Texturing above the hole holds the thumb incontact with the blade's spine during cutting for confident control over thesharpened edge. The handle scales are Foliage Green G-10 with the lock's linernested directly into the scale, pumping up lock strength without the additionof bulky liners. Spacers between the scales create a gap running the handle'sfull length exposing the inside workings for inspection and cleaning. Thehandle flares slightly at the front end creating a finger choil and at the buttend, which keeps the knife from slipping forward or backward in the hand whilesawing or making tough or aggressive cuts. A contoured black metal clip is setfor right-hand tip-down carry.
