Over 30 plus years old and still works perfectly. I wanted to make sure that the pictures told the whole story. So their is a hairline crack at the base but the detector is entact...this part is not dangling or loose. It simply means you should in the near future whether that’s a year or two apply sealant so that it will strengthen and not get loose. Similar to cracks in the driveway of your house. The concrete isn’t separated/dangerous but as time goes on, you might want to addres...s it before it becomes a problem.
This is the only white’s metal detector listed on eBay. Their are other white’s metal detectors listed but the model number is different than 6000 di pro plus. I will ship it detached from the base so that it is easier to ship, but it’s beyond easy to reassemble as the only thing you need to do is reattach and make sure the metal tab clicks into place depending on how long you want the shaft to be.
