For sale is an antique rope making machine - The New-Era Rope Machine - made by A.D. Long of Fairfield, Iowa.  Patented on July 18, 1911, this machine revolutionized the manufacture of twisted or laid rope.  This example is in good used vintage condition, with an all-over thin layer of rust.  Please see condition description and photos for details.  It has a large center hole and a handle that attaches directly to the rear disc - I have seen only one other example c...onfigured like this.  I am offering this antique rope machine for $240, and I welcome offers.
