ANTIQUE BOY’S (or Girl's) JUMEAU SOCKS/STOCKINGS Thisauction is for a pair of antique Jumeau stockings that came with the matching sailoroutfit I purchased recently. The stockings would not fit mychunky doll so I am selling them on eBay. These are incredibly rare. Theywere originally meant for a Jumeau (boy) doll who was 20” tall (seemeasurements below). They were purchased from a seller (on Ruby Lane) called Mlle. Bereux (who specializes in F...rench fashion accessories). Theyare a very thick cotton weave that is cream colored with medium and light bluestriping. One of the socks has a purpletoe (unsure if this was intentional but look to be as apart of the weave. MEASUREMENTS:· Top of sock to heel: 5.0”· Heel to toe: 2.25”· Calf: 1.5”(3.0” approximate circumference)· Top of sock: 2.0” (4.0” approximate circumference) CONDITION:Excellentfor their age. No holes and a couple ofpinpoint stains. Because of their age(probably at least 120 years old), there is not much give or elasticity in thethick weave/ knit. The price for this is well under what I paid for initially.I AM A NON-SMOKER and have NO PETS.
