Here is a pretty little thing we have for you: a 12 inch Kley & Hahn "Special" doll. PLEASE STUDY ALL PICTURES AS THEY ARE PART OF THE DOLL'S DESCRIPTION. We have never come across one of these so we are unfamiliar with this company. In the past, we have have experience with Armand Marseille "Special" dolls, and we were unaware other companies did something similar. Nevertheless, she is a cutie. She has dark blue glass fixed eyes. Her dark b...rown mohair wig is original to this doll and is nicely styled in sausage curls, with some parts pulled off her face and tied with a pretty pink ribbon. Her complexion is very understated, creamy and pale, slightly blushed with a light peach, with her lips, a darker rose. Very delicate. Also of note is that she has china boots which are dark pink. She wears white pantalettes with dark pink picot ribbons tied at the bottom. Her pale pink dress has gathered and flounced white lace at her neckline, sleeves, and hemline. The bodice is fitted to the waist, then flares out to thr perfect bell-shape to the hem-line. There is an overskirt, much like an apron, which ties at the waist in a dark pink ribbon. The hemline of this added layer is "festooned" with raised areas decorated with dark pink bows. In the raised areas, the lace flounce peeps through fetchingly. In all, she presents as a very pretty little doll.
