Lady ' S Antique French Gold Pocket Watch Roman Numerals Flower/Scroll Medallion
Item History & Price
I know nothing about Pocket watches so please bear with me and DO ask questions if needed.
I was told by a jeweler that he believed this was a French watch and that it was Gold, not gold-plated...?
The Crystal over the Face is in great condition.
On the 'workings' face there are initials "R A" and illegible letters (?) underneath that, on the 'pointer' part.
On the inside of case, opposite 'workings' face is "104...33" with "JV" under that.
Face has 12 Hour Dial with Roman Numerals, 2 gold (?) hands, has spot/dirt at the '7' position.
Outside Case, on side opposite face, is thin, has ornate oval with Scrolls and flower, has tiny hole at bottom; on inside is "10433" with what looks like a "0" under that?
Watch is in good condition, tho not working, wish I had more information on this or more markings!
Any glare/white spots are from my camera.
Please email with any questions and thanks for looking!
