VINTAGE SCARCE J. SAINSBURY'S, LONDON, SUPERIOR HOME MADE, BLOATER PASTE POT or JAR from the early 1900's that have been found buried in a domestic rubbish/ash tip a few months ago. The pot measures from 4cm high by just under 8cm in diameter across the top edge, it is in GOOD FAIR CONDITION being clean with no residue left inside. Note the attractive glaze cracking caused by over 100 years of prolonged burial and some tarnish staining which is quite normal for pots of ...this type and age. There is a flake on the base edge and two chips / flake on the side edge and hairlines on the side as pictured above. Some of the chips on the base are manufacturing faults. I am quite happy happy to combine purchases for buyers to help save money on postage and shipping costs etc.
